BEJAIA

Béjaïa is an Algerian commune located along the Mediterranean Sea. It is the chief town of the wilaya of Béjaïa and the daïra of Béjaïa, in Kabylie.

The city is part of the watershed of Wadi Soummam. Bejaia and the Lower Soummam Valley enjoy a Mediterranean climate. It is usually moist with a slight change in seasonal temperature.
